Intel oneAPI Tools for HPC

Build, analyze, optimize, and scale high-performance, cross-architecture HPC applications using the latest techniques in vectorization, multithreading, multi-node parallelization, and memory optimization.

Together, the Intel oneAPI Base Toolkit and oneAPI HPC Toolkit help developers, researchers, and data scientists write fast, correct code with confidence and scale compute-intensive workloads that take full advantage of the latest Intel CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, and HPC clusters.

The toolkits include industry-leading C++ and Fortran compilers, standards-based OpenMP support, an MPI library with benchmarks, and advanced tools for design analysis, MPI tuning, cluster optimization, and cluster health checking.

What are the Intel oneAPI Toolkits?

With the Intel oneAPI Toolkits, Intel has created its own implementation of oneAPI, giving developers the tools to efficiently build, analyse, and optimise high-performance, cross-architecture applications for Intel CPUs, GPUs, and FPGAs.

The tools previously included in Intel Parallel Studio XE and Intel System Studio are now part of Intel's next-generation oneAPI products. The oneAPI Toolkits are upward-compatible supersets of these earlier products, so you keep every feature you relied on and gain new ones.

  • Develop with a unified programming model. Whether you're targeting CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, or AI accelerators, you won't need to learn multiple toolchains or be locked into a single proprietary one.
  • Reduce development time and cost. Because oneAPI is built on open-source software and industry standards, application development becomes easier and less expensive for your organisation.
  • Keep using familiar compilers, now with broader reach. The Intel Classic Compilers you already use, including Intel Fortran Classic and Intel C++ Classic, are transitioning to the LLVM infrastructure to support multiple architectures.
